Crew Skills International Culinary School of Asia is an International Accredited Centre offering official JPK (Dept of Skills Development, Ministry of Human Resources) SKM Skills Programs for Malaysian and international students, primarily culinary, by providing vocational training in largely practical courses. The courses lead to a certificate awarded by the Malaysian JPK, with international recognition. In March 2017, we were approved by City & Guilds to offer their Level 2 Diploma in Food Preparation and Cooking (Culinary Arts) and Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Food Preparation and Cookery Supervision. As a C&G approved centre, Crew Skills is applying for fast track ?Recognition of a Quality Culinary Education? provider awarded by The World Association of Chef Societies? which will allow our diploma graduates to be also eligible for the WACS Professional Commis certificate, accepted worldwide.
Crew Skills is also licenced to offer Australian professional chef accredited courses (Certificate 3 and 4 in Commercial Cookery (Western) awarded by Australian RTO Culinary Solutions Australia, that are recognised by the Australian Immigration authorities as full professional qualifications.
Crew Skills was originally set up as part of an international group to gap train hospitality professionals for the international luxury cruise industry, commencing in 2010 in Clark Education City in the Philippines. Crew Skills in Malaysia is now focused on full culinary training in a programme that combines theory, practical and work-experience. As a result, graduates are assured of a placement in quality 5 or 4 star hotels in the region and the prospect of a job on a cruise liner when their work experience qualifies them.
Crew Skills still provides gap training (identifying gaps in culinary knowledge or competence and filling them by training) for international professionals in Culinary, Food & Beverage and Housekeeping disciplines.
Crew Skills International will process the loan application of PTPK based on the requirement of students.
